The first look at The Launiu Ward Village
Ward Village — Howard Hughes’ 60-acre master-planned community located between Downtown Honolulu and Waikiki — has unveiled renderings of its newest proposed residential tower, The Launiu Ward Village.
Located on Ala Moana Boulevard at Ward Avenue, the new development, Ward Village’s 11th residential project, will include 486 one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes, as well as street-level shops and restaurants, according to a Feb. 1 announcement from the developer.
“The Launiu’s prime location — with its sweeping ocean, Diamond Head, and mountain views — provides an extraordinary setting for the inspiring design and quality lifestyle offered at Ward Village’s latest tower,” Bonnie Wedemeyer, executive vice president, sales and strategy for Howard Hughes, said in a statement. According to the announcement, The Launiu Ward Village was designed by architect Arquitectonica, interior designer ODADA and VITA Planning & Landscape Architecture.
Amenities include infinity pools, a lawn with cabanas and private barbecue areas for intimate gatherings, as well as a fitness center, dedicated kids’ pool, and multi-purpose rooms to provide flexible spaces for a variety of events and activities, the announcement noted. Read More
