According to a letter sent in September to the Maui County Planning Department, the Grand Wailea Maui looks to be changing its expansion plans and scaling it down a bit. The 224 proposed rooms will now be 151 rooms and instead of two new parking garage levels they will only be adding one to its nearly 40-acre resort.
