Maui is the only island where the hotel demand is not dropping.  Instead about 10 or more new hotels and timeshares will be added to the market due to the growth that is fueling the development of these hotels.  The new developments are happening in Wailea and Kihei which are considered the traditional market, however, Kahului, an ancillary market, is also be impacted by the growth and could see 3 projects moving forward as well.  Click here to read the full article
