Bill 7, signed into law on May 21, 2019, changes codes for small parcels of land in apartment and business mixed-use zoned areas, to allow walk-up rental buildings to be built for tenants who make 100% or below the city’s area median income.

The bill also has incentives for property owners who own lot sizes of 20,000 square feet or less that are zoned for apartment or mixed use. Review and building permit application waivers, parking requirement reductions and up to 10 years of real property tax exemptions are just a few that are mentioned.  Click here to read the complete article
