Hawaii’s visitor accommodation units grew a little in 2018.  Vacation rentals and timeshares are offsetting the states lodging.

Kloninger & Sims Consulting LLC reported that across the state, visitor lodging grew to 80,751 units in 2018 which is just a 0.1% rise from 2017.

Many hotels supplying more than 54% of the states lodging saw their drop in their unit count to more than 2% from 2017.
