Turtle Bay is about to increase its workforce from 650 to 1,100.  The hotel, which is owned by Blackstone and managed by Benchmark Resorts & Hotels is planning to begin construction in May that will add about 750 units.  That plan includes an additional 725 permanent lodging units, including 100 residences and the resort is also considering adding another 25 temporary structures like travel trailers and yurts for guests who are into glamping, or glamorous camping.  It will also do some renovation to the landscape and exterior of the hotel that will cost approximately $52 million.
